      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, December 14, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Edith B. Petrie, Department Store Worker - Edith B. Petrie, 86, Sandra Lane, North Syracuse, died Thursday at her home. Mrs. Petrie was employed at the former J.J. Newberry Department Store in Watertown for several years. Born August 11, 1910, in Mexico, daughter of Fred and Martha Tegg Weed, she lived in Pulaski, Harrisville and Watertown before moving to North Syracuse in 1984. She married Rollo W. Petrie on February 11, 1958. Mr. Petrie died March 24, 1980. She was a member of the North Syracuse Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother, William Weed, North Syracuse; a grandson, Floyd Fox Jr., Jordan, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Froney Fox, died before her. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, South Richland. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
