      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 5, 1913 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Napoleon B. Potter - A long period of illness and much suffering terminated, Saturday morning, when Napoleon Bonaparte Potter passed away in the home two miles east of this village. Mr. Potter was born in Clarendon, Vermont, January 13, 1834. He came from Vermont to Boston when a young man and fifty-one years ago came to this town and engaged in farming, a pursuit he followed all his active life. When a young man he united with the Methodist church and has lived a devoted Christian life. He was a member of Pulaski Grange for many years and served as school trustee in the Fox District, where he lived, for a number of terms. He was twice married. He is survived by the widow and one daughter, Addie Walker, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Reuben Hilton, who resides at the home of her husband. Mr. Potter was highly esteemed for his noble manhood and honorable living. The funeral was held from the home Monday at one o'clock, Rev. A. P. Palmer officiating. Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
