      Mr. and Mrs. Martin F. Landas, Belile Road, observed their 25th wedding anniversary June 29.

      The couple celebrated the occasion at a dinner with friends and plan an anniversary trip to Tacoma, Wash., in August.

      Mr. Landas, son of the late Victor C. and Elizabeth Landas, was married to Nancy Ann Hocking, daughter of Treva Plank, Rochester, and the late Whitney Hocking and foster daughter of F. Harlan and Shirley T. Bean, Perry, on June 29, 1968, at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. J.L. Meehan officiating.

      Attendants were Rosalie T. Bradt, Amsterdam, and Victor Landas, Pleasantville, Pa., brother of the bridegroom.

      Mrs. Landas received a bachelor of science degree from Geneseo State University College and a master of science degree from Potsdam State University College and has done additional graduate work at Oswego State University College. She was an English teacher at Indian River Central School and served as English department chairwoman, retiring in 1996 after 33 years.

      Mr. Landas received a bachelor's degree from Edinboro (Pa.) State College and completed graduate work at Edinboro and at Potsdam and Oswego state university colleges. He also taught English at Indian River Central School and retired in 1996 after 33 years.

      The couple has five children: Leslie Kelly, Prospect, Conn., Nyle, Watertown, Tyler, Holland, Mich., Brandon, Erie, Pa., and Marquelle Landas, a student at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma.
