    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 19, 1967 Democrat and Chronicle - Rochester, New York - Western New York Deaths - Francis J. Hocking - Perry - Francis J. Hocking, 77, a former Perry resident, died yesterday (April 18, 1967) in Richmond Memorial Hospital, Staten Island. Mr. Hocking was born at Mt. Vernon, Feb 26, 1890, but had lived here 50 years. He moved to Staten Island five years ago to live with his daughter. While a resident here he was a painter for Rebeson Cutlery Co. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. John Campbell; a son, Searle Hocking of Perry; a sister, Mrs. Marie Calkins of Jamestown, a brother, Whitney Hocking of Arizona, and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rev. Jesse Young will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Friday in the Eaton Funeral Home. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Eaton's this evening and tomorrow.
