    • Jane Almira Weed Bentley - August 4, 1817 - September 23, 1896. Daughter of Ezra and Polly Sampson Weed. Wife of Spencer Bentley.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 30, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - The community is called upon to mourn the loss of one of its oldest and most highly esteemed inhabitants in the death of Mrs. Jane Bentley, widow of the late Spencer Bentley. The funeral services were held Saturday at the home of her son, J. E. Bentley, where her death occurred and with whom she had lived for many years. On this farm she and her husband raised their family, and by frugality, and industry amassed a comfortable property for their old age. Mrs. Bentley was a member of the M. E. church of this place, and was loved by young and old alike, who sincerely mourn her death. Her age was about eighty years.
