- Newspaper Obituary - Friday, October 9, 1914 Amsterdam Evening Recorder - Mrs. Alonzo Hotaling - Canajoharie, Oct. 9. - Anna Hotaling, wife of Alonzo Hotaling, of Dolgeville, died at 10 o'clock last ngiht at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Haberman, on the Randford Garlock farm, between Marshville and Buel. Mrs. Hotaling arrived at the home of her daughter two weeks ago and very soon afterwords suffered a stroke of apoplexy. She was born in Inghams Mills in Herkimer County, December 7, 1894, and her maiden name was Anna Kyser. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Charles Haberman, Frank Kyser, Mrs. Burt Schell, Mrs. Isaac Horr, Mrs. Emerson Ecker and Charles and Harry Hotaling. She also leaves two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. J. D. Sadler, of Herkimer and Mrs. Douglas Newman, of Ingham Mills, and Samuel and Charles Kyser, of Ingham Mills. The remains will be taken to Dolgeville for burial.
