Charles R. Archer Sr., 74, of 7549 Church St. died Monday at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, Mr. Archer lived in the Oswego area many years. He retired in 1979 after 24 years with the Fulton Boiler Works, Pulaski.
Mr. Archer served in the U.S. Army from 1932 until 1946.
Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Audlin; two sons, Charles Jr. of Pulaski and Gary of Bridgeport; a daughter, Karen Archer of Topsham, Maine; a sister, Gertrude Dirk of Oswego; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Richard A. Clay officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St.
