- Kathryn S. Valley, 60, Delano Street, died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Church, with the Rev. Anthony Keeffe officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Oswego County Unit of the American Cancer Society, to Oswego County Hospice or to the cancer unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Surviving are her husband, Norman W.; two sons, Joseph, Constantia, and Paul, Cleveland, Ohio; a granddaughter; two brothers, William Stoffle, Sylvan Beach, and Gilbert Stoffle, New Bremen, and two sisters, Geraldine Kosner, Lyons Falls, and Rita Houppert, Lowville. Born Nov. 26, 1930, in Lowville, daughter of Mylan and Ann McGrath Stoffle, she was a 1947 graduate of Lowville Academy High School. She lived in Pulaski 35 years. She was a supervisor and chief operator for the Adams and Pulaski offices of General Telephone Co. and Continental Telephone Co. for 35 years. She married Norman Valley April 21, 1956, in St. John the Evangelist Church, with the Rev. William J. Shanahan officiating. Mrs. Valley was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, its Altar and Rosary Society, and the Pulaski Women in Business Club. She was also a member of the Independent Telephone Pioneers Association.
