Survivors: sons, Jeremy and Joshua; sisters, Elizabeth Hermann, Brenda Ketchem, Rolanda Wallis and Tina Babcock; brothers, Christian, Douglas and Todd; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Calling Hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral. Burial: Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland, NY.

Gary R. "Gumby" Bristol, 50, Grove Street, formerly of Richland, died Friday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been a patient since Wednesday. The cause of death was complications of diabetes.
Born May 25, 1955, in Oneida, son of Ronald and Eva Mae Rollins Bristol, he resided in the Richland area before moving to Gouverneur 10 years ago.
A marriage to Bonnie Aldridge ended in divorce.
He later married Jill Yerdon. The marriage ended in separation.
Mr. Bristol was disabled. He enjoyed fishing and helping people.
Surviving are two sons, Jeremy, New Haven, and Joshua, Parish; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Albert Hermann, Orwell, Brenda Ketchem, Aberdeen, Md., Rolanda Wallis, Parish, and Tina Babcock, Pulaski; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Christian and Carol, Pulaski, Douglas, Parish, and Todd and Patricia, Lacona, and several nieces and nephews.
An infant brother, Roland C., died before him.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial will be in Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland. Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
