MEXICO - Leon L. Valley, 78, former resident of Mexico, died Friday at his home, Sherman St. Watertown, where he resided 10 years. Mr Valley, a native of Cape Vincent, was a retired farmer and formerly served as custodian of Mexico Central School. He was a son of Jerry and Henrietta Humphrey Valley. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church of Watertown. Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Jessie Kissel Valley, are two sons, Richard of Dryden and James of Mexico; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Schaefer of Watertown a brother, Elton of Cape Vincent; a sister, Mrs. Jay McCurdy. Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
