- Fred G. Young
Fred G. Young, respected resident of this village for all of his 75 years, was stricken with an attack of heart disease Tuesday morning at his home, No. 68 Mynderse street. He expired within a few minutes. Mr. Young was for years in business on Fall street, conducting a recreation parlor and billiard room at Fall and Water streets. For six years he has been in charge of the Seneca Falls Savings Bank building. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Powhattan Lodge, No. 310, I. O. O. F.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Young; three daughters, Mrs. George Brady and Miss Ivah Young of Seneca Falls and Mrs. Hugh McGinn of Newark, N. J., and one son, Charles J. Young of Seneca Falls.
Funeral services in charge of M. R. Sanderson, funeral director, will be conducted by Rev. R. D. Merrill, Presbyterian pastor, this afternoon at the Young home. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery.
