      Mrs. Ida Dota Howlett, 95, a former resident of Sandy Creek, died Monday night, December 26, 1955 in the Spencer Nursing Home, New Haven, following a long illness. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in the Springer Funeral Home in with burial in Mt. Adnah cemetery. She was the Widow of DeSalvo L. Howlett, who lived in Orwell and later in Sandy Creek and Fulton. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Mitchell of Fulton. Mr. Howlett died in 1929.
