    • Eloise V. Urban, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday morning at Crouse Hospital. She was the last remaining child of the late Chester and Maude Smith, and will be joining her husband of 60 years, Steve, and her 12 siblings in Heaven. Eloise always looked forward to visits from her nephew, Red and was greatly anticipating her granddaughter, Jenna's graduation from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, in May. She worked at Sacred Heart School cafeteria for 29 years and then enjoyed cooking for the priests at the Sacred Heart Rectory for three years. Her daughters would like to thank the staff of 4 South, and Kristin from the ER at Crouse Hospital for the care they gave her; and they appreciate all the service they received from Dr. Lawless' office along with his nurse, Donna. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Johnson, Linda (Jerry) LaVeck and Deborah Bognaski; three granddaughters, Tracey and Tina Johnson, and Jenna Bognaski; great-granddaughter, Marissa Johnson; and nephew, Roscoe "Red" Miesner. Services: 9 a.m. Thursday at GIMINSKI-WYSOCKI FUNERAL HOME; 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
