    • John Hollis left Shelbourne Falls, Massachusetts with his wife and eldest two children in 1805. They had two oxen and a wagon on which they carried all their possessions. They came into Oswego County (then part of Oneida County) by way of Redfield. They settles in Orwell Township.
      Joshua and his wife are buried in the old Caster Cemetery on the Orwell-Lacona Rd.
