    • Thomas was a lumber surveyor in March 1760. He was a 2nd Lt. in Captain John Vinton's Company, Colonel Benjamin Lincoln's Reg't of the Lexington Alarm. He later was an ensign in the same company. He served 3 years and was called Thomas Hollis Jr. on the Rolls (Hollis Genealogy).
