Notes - PULASKI - Aug. 12 - The funeral of Stanley Mattison Smith, who died Thursday at his home in Sloperville, town of Orwell, after a short illness, will be conducted from his home Sunday at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Clarence C. Jones of the Fernwood Baptist church. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Williamstown.
Mr. Smith was born April 19, 1885 in the town of Orwell and was the son of Seymour G. and Annie Mattison Smith. He had spent his entire life in the town and had always followed farming. He was an attendant of the Altmar Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Seymour of Pulaski, Sidney of Altmar, and Leonard Smith of Mexico, one daughter, Marion Smith of Altmar, a brother, Roy Smith of Alabama, and seven grandchildren.
