    • Richard E. Skellington, 82, of 9 Wheeler Road,Williamstown,died Monday at home.

      Born in Inwood, he lived in Bethpage before moving to Williamstown in 1941. He retired in 1979 after 28 years at Allied Chemical Co., Solvay. He worked at the Miller Potato Farm for several years. He and his wife owned and operated a dairy farm for 35 years.

      Survivors: His wife, Laura M.; two daughters, Linda M. Merritt and Bonnie L. Althouse, both of Williamstown; three sons, Richard C., Larry B. and Keith C., all of Williamstown; a sister, Minerva Wiley of East Syracuse; three brothers, Edward of Bethpage, Howard of Williamstown and Raymond of East Syracuse; 18 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

      Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial, Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
