Services for Robert L. Bowers, 81, of Albion Cross Roads, who died Saturday in Watertown, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the home, 7385 Park St.
Mr. Bowers was born in Richland and resided in the Pulaski area all his life. He was a dairy farmer for several years and also worked for the Dairymen’s League and Queen’s Farms Dairy, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Altmar Grange. His first wife, the former Emily Twitchell, died in 1959 and his second wife, the former Frances Tousley, died in 1980.
Surviving are a brother, Dexter Bowers of Altmar; two sisters, Doris Fox of Camden and Beatrice Spedding of Minetto; and a foster son, Sam Sibley of Apulia Station.
