      Shirley A. Henry, age 73, life resident of Orwell, passed away Monday at her home, surrounded by her family. Shirley was born June 3, 1949, in Orwell, the daughter of, Leslie and Alida Sylvester Haines. She attended Pulaski Schools. Shirley was married to her husband of 56-years, Douglas Henry, Sr. on March 19, 1966. Shirley and her husband owned and operated Shirley’s Stop-N-Go in Orwell and then the Altmar Hotel for 27 years.

      Surviving, are her husband, Douglas Henry, Sr., one daughter, Michelle (Russell) Scott of Altmar, two sons, Douglas (Karen) Henry, Jr., of Baldwinsville and William (Kristin) Henry of Orwell, one brother, Leslie Haines of Orwell and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

      Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY 13142.
