      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 22, 1970 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Leslie G. Haines Rites April 18 - Funeral services were held Saturday, April 18 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home for Leslie G. Haines, 64, of the town of Albion, who died April 15 in St. Joseph's Hospital. The Rev. Nelson Reppert of Park United Methodist Church officiated and burial was in Richland Cemetery. Mr. Haines was born August 25, 1905 in England, son of George and Edith Booth Haines. He attended school in London and in Saskatchewan, Canada after the family moved there. He married in 1935 to the former Alida M. Sylvester at Utica where they lived until coming to this area about 20 years ago. He worked as an automobile mechanic and had his own shop in Centerville for a time. He was employed during the summer months at Williamstown Irrigation. Surviving are his wife, Alida Haines; a son, Leslie Haines, Jr. of Orwell; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Edith) Greenfield of Dover, Delaware and Mrs. Douglas (Shirley) Henry of Altmar, seven grandchildren; two brothers, Charles of Richfield Springs and Leonard of Utica; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Pinpi of Rome and Mrs. Winifred Schoenley of New Hartford; nieces and nephews.
