      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 2, 1995 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Alida M. Haines, 82, Once of Richland, Dies - Alida M. Haines, 82, formerly of Centerville Road, died Tuesday at a Dover, Delaware, nursing home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. John Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are a son, Leslie G. Jr., Orwell; two daughters, Edith "Smokey" Bialecki, Magnolia, Delaware, and Shirley Henry, Orwell; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, George P., died in May 1959. Born December 19, 1912, in Manchester, New Hampshire, daughter of Joseph and Delina Champagne Sylvester, she married Leslie G. Haines in 1935 in Utica. Mr. Haines died April 15, 1970. Mrs. Haines lived in Richland and Orwell before moving to Magnolia in 1971. She worked for Wilson's Red & White, Syracuse China and Evergreen Nursing Home, Pulaski.
