Services for John D. Thurston, 2-year-old son of Clifford and Brenda Thurston, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St.
John died Monday evening in a fire at the home of his aunt and uncle, Gary and Doris Bubis of 8127 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek, where the child was staying.
Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Melissa Deyo of Pulaski; two brothers, Clifford Jr. and Jason Thurston, both of Pulaski; his maternal grandparents, John and Doris Deyo of Pulaski; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Thurston of Richland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
