    • Newspaper Obituary - August 17, 1933 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, Oswego, New York - John Tilkins - John Tilkins, 75, a retired farmer residing in Pulaski, died Thurday morning, August 10, 1933, following an illness of six weeks. Mr. Tilkins was born April 31, 1858, at Fort Ontario, the son of Frank and Delia Goodrow Tilkins. He followed the occupation of farming until about eight years ago when he moved to Pulaski. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Lettie Tilkins; two sons, Lewis Tilkins of Richland, and Lawrence Tilkins of Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Tanner of Mannsville and Mrs. T. A. Gordon of Parish, and his sister Nettie Martin. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home, burial being made in Woodlawn cemetery, Sandy Creek.
