- Carol Ann Banas, 77, of Lakeland, FL, and Auburn, NY, passed away on November 6, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1948 to the late Calvin Henry and Eva (Graham) Ward. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Banas; siblings, Candy O’Donnell, Sally Nunez, Vickie Walker, Richard Ward and John Ward.
Carol is survived by her children Cheri (Tom) Blaisdell, Angela (Kenny) Goodway and Steven (Pam) Deon; step-children Raymond Banas, Thomas (Sue) Banas and Cherie (Eric) Ewartz; siblings, Douglas Henry, Cindy Henry, Bud Ward and Robert Ward; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Carol loved life—every moment of it—and embodied the true meaning of a social butterfly. Her spontaneous trips, unplanned visits, and joyful presence brought energy and warmth wherever she went. She loved to travel, to shop, and to spend cherished time with her family—moments that brought her true happiness and created memories we will hold close forever. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
A graveside service is planned for November 29, 2025, 12:00 PM at the Orwell Cemetery, Orwell, New York. A gathering will immediately follow at 11 North Bar and Grill, 5233 US Route 11, Pulaski, NY.
