- Newspaper Obituary - Friday, June 24, 1960 Palladium-Times - Arthur Revoir, Sr - Mallory - Arthur Revoir, Sr, 69, retired machinist, died unexpectedly this morning at his home here. He was the father of Oswego County Deputy Sheriff Arthur Revoir, Jr. A life resident of this area, Mr. Revoir after retiring from employment at Crouse Hinds Co. plant in syracuse, operated with his wife a gas station and lunchroom at Bardeen's Corners on Route 11. Among his survivors are his wife, the former, Neva Thurston, two daughters, Mrs. Frances Hand, and Mrs. Helen Williams, both of Fayetteville; three sons, Arthur Jr., of Hastings, Vernon of Mallory and Herman of Central Square; 19 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Iva Wilson, Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Traub funeral home in Central Square, the Rev. Joseph A. Clarke, pastor of Hastings Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery here. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Traub funeral home.
