      November 23, 2012

      James W. Pelkey III, 60, of Mexico, a former life resident of Pulaski, died Friday at home. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of American Legion Post #358, Pulaski, NY.

      He was predeceased by his companion of many years, Linda Hoskinson.

      Surviving are three daughters, Melissa Faira (Joseph) of Rhode Island, Stephanie (Jim) Bartosek of Mexico and Alicia Pelkey of Alabama; six grandchildren; and one stepdaughter, Heather (Toby) Brewer of Mexico.

      Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday from Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the services.
