    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 5, 1969 Citizen Advertiser - Auburn, New York - MacFarren Services - Funeral services for James MacFarren of Auburn RD 5 Throopsville, who died Tuesday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after being stricken at his home were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kinney Funeral Home, Weedsport. Rev. Leslie Edwards, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Auburn officiated. Bearers were Lee Bidwell, John Moore, Charles Chamberlain, Gary McDowell, Ralph McDowell, and James Eastman II, all of RD 5, Auburn. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. Services originally scheduled for Saturday morning were postponed until afternoon pending the arrival from Vietnam of Mr. MacFarrens son Col. Donald James MacFarren, USAF.
