Harriet S. Cox, 86
Harriet S. Cox, 86, died May 1, 1982 at the Pontiac Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
An Oswego native, she had lived at 132 E. Second St. Mrs. Cox formerly lived in Pulaski and Richland, and was organist in the Richland Methodist Church. She was a former member of Eastern Star and attended the Grace Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Cameron of Pulaski and Fred of Oswego; a brother Alfred Meecher and a sister, Eiliene Blackburn of Oswego; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private services were held at the Dain Funeral Home with the Rev. John Howell of the Pulaski Congregational Church officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego.
