- Mrs. Etta Mae King
Mrs. Etta Mae King, 39, wife of Samuel King, died suddenly Saturday afternoon while returning to her home in Daysville from a shopping trip in Pulaski.
Mrs. King was driving on Route 13, on the Colin Blue Hill, when a tire blew out. Mrs. King braked the car and when it came to a halt on level ground, Mrs. King was dead.
Ellery Jennings of Pulaski, a passing motorist, brought her to the office of Dr. A.B. Thompson in Pulaski and he pronounced her dead.
Mrs. King was born in Pulaski, Sept. 30, 1902, a daughter of Julius and Hattie Green Sparks.
She resided in this area all her life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Comebrate of Jamestown, and Wanda King; one son, Richard King, and one brother, Clarence Sparks of Rome.
