      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, February 18, 2000 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - M. Elizabeth Pratt Owned Dairy Farm - Mary Elizabeth Pratt, 89, formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown. Mrs. Pratt and her husband, Charles W., owned and operated a dairy farm in Pulaski for many years. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church and its Ann Judson Circle, Pulaski Grange 730, Pulaski Senior Citizens group and Home Bureau. Born August 14, 1910, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, daughter of Byron and Etta Mae Simmons Pitzer, she graduated from New Castle High School in 1927. She married Charles Wayne Pratt on October 5, 1929. The couple lived in Pulaski all their married life. He died August 13, 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Betty I. Gerdon, Hemet, California, and Gloria J. Young, Pompey; two sons, Jim, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and Doug, Sandy Creek; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Brett Charsky officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 am. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Samaritan Keep Home, Box 100, Watertown, New York 13601.
