- Clyde C.Cox, Oswego, Dies
Funeral rites for Clyde C. Cox, 71, of Oswego, were held, Tuesday afternoon at the Dain Funeral Home in Oswego.
Mr. Cox, a former resident of this area, died Saturday at Oswego Hospital following several
weeks illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harriet Freeman Cox; two sons, Fred F. Cox of Oswego and Cameron C. Cox of Pulaski; two brothers, Amos and Arthur Cox, both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cox was born in Oswego on April 13, 1894, the son of Daniel and Haydee Collins Cox.
He served for many years as chief clerk with the New York Central Railroad at Watertown, Oswego and Richland. He retired several years ago.
He was a member of the Railroad Union, Lake City Lodge 127 and a member of the Presbyterian Church
