Dell F. Allen, 54, of 6031 S. Main St., Sandy Creek, died Thursday. Born in Syracuse, he lived 30 years in Sandy Creek and attended Sandy Creek Central School. He retired in 1994 after 28 years as a forklift operator at Schoeller Technical Paper Co., Pulaski. A son, David M., died in 1970.
Survivors: His wife of 35 years, the former Rebecca Gibbs; a daughter, Rebecca Emmons of Pulaski; two sons, Timothy of East Syracuse and James of Sandy Creek; his mother, Eva Guyette of Sandy Creek; two sisters, Isabelle Allen of Auburn and Carolyn Briggs of Syracuse; a brother, Abram of Sandy Creek; 10 grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Summerville Funeral Home. Spring burial, Pineville Cemetery. Calling hours, 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 1997 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek.
