Wesley W. "Bill" Quackenbush, 75, of 550 Hong Kong Road, died Saturday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Syracuse.
Mr. Quackenbush retired from Conrail in 1992 after 41 years of service.
He was a member of Mad River Club, Lacona, and Russell Tryon American Legion Post 1435, Altmar, and had lived in Boylston and Watertown before moving to Pulaski in 1964.
Born Sept. 4, 1926, in Watertown, son of Bernard and Anna Menard Quackenbush, he attended Sandy Creek schools and served in the Army.
He married Maxine Justice in October 1950 at Sackets Harbor. She died Jan. 24, 1980.
Surviving are five sons, Rodney W., Roger W. and G. Scott, all of Pulaski, John R., Mapleview, and Larry F., Mexico; three daughters, Deonn L. Casey, Pulaski, Joyce E. Quackenbush, Oswego, and Karen J. Quackenbush, Germany; two sisters, Leola Quackenbush, Mexico, and Cecilia Collins, Pulaski; two brothers, James, Boylston, and Bernard, Snover, Mich., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Services: 11 a.m. today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek. Calling hours, 9:30 to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
