Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 18, 1946 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Funeral services for Herbert S. Manwarren, 73, who died at his home in Texas April 9, 1946, were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Karl Gibbs Funeral Home in Mexico. Mr. Manwarren was born in the town of Richland on February 15, 1873, the son of Frank and Ella Spencer Manwarren. Following the occupation of farming, he spent most of his life in this area. His wife, Josephine Walters died September 1924. He was a member of Mexico Arbeit Lodge No. 168 and the Texas Grange. Burial was in Daysville Cemetery with Rev. Allen T. Dodge Methodist Church of Mexico, officiating.
