Orla Howard, 73, of Sandridge Four Corners died Saturday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse.
A native of Mallory, Mr. Howard also lived in Baldwinsville before moving to Pennellville 23 years ago. He operated a barbershop at his home.
An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, Mr. Howard was a member of Phoenix Post 5540, VFW, and a life member of Oswego Valley Chapter 106, Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Ina House; a daughter, Ruth Sullivan of Brandon, Fla.; two brothers, Ralph of Brewerton and Otto of Central Square; a sister, Maude Harke of Clay; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mallory.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St.
