- DeWilton W Lattimer II, 69, of Sandy Creek passed away unexpectedly Friday December 2, 2016 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
Mr. Lattimer was born July 9, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to DeWilton and Merle (Minor) Lattimer. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1965. Dee worked as a lineman for Niagara Mohawk for 35 years. He served on the Sandy Creek School Board for 5 years and 3 years as president; former Vice President of the Oswego County Fair, President of the 1000 Islands Corvette Club; member at Calvary Baptist Church and was an avid car enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife Juleann, a son DeWilton III (Melanie), Blauvelt, NY; Esther (Mitchell) Nemier, Massena, NY;5 grandchildren; three sisters Linda (Ron) Laughton, DuPont, WA; Georgia Lattimer, Syracuse, NY; DeAnna (Steve) Rossman, Orwell, NY
Calling Hours will be Monday, December 5th from 10am-1pm at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. The Funeral Service will follow at 3pm at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be private at Orwell Cemetery.
Donation may be made in his honor to Syracuse Rescue Mission or Wounded Warriors.
