      Daniel Clemons
      Remse-Daniel Clemons died unexpectedly Feb. 18, 1949 in the home of his son Leroy Clemons.
      He was born Nov. 7, 1886, at Three Mile Bay, N.Y., son of the later Oliver and Louise Smith Clemons. Mr Clemons had been a farmer most of his life. He was twice married, his first wife being Mary Elizabeth Olmstead. After her death, he married Ada Moyer.
      He leaves six sons, Leroy D., Morris F., Loren A. , Remsen; Frank K., Whtesboro, Ernest, Pulaski; Kenneth, cold Brook; six daughters, Mrs. Wallace Thomas, Remsen; Mrs. Paul Anna, Newport; Mrs. Ethel Hall, Inlet; Mrs. Howard Bowie, Cold Brook; Mrs. Elmer Letso, Utica; Mrs. James Moore, Port Leyden, 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren,
      The funeral Will be held fro the Thompson Funeral Home at 1p.m. Monday with burial in Glenfield. The Rev. Ernest Bragg will officiate.
