    • May 2, 1888 ~ Susan J. Jones, age 52 years, Married, born in Richland Township, Daughter of Arch and Ava Campbell, died in Richland Township of chronic rheumatism.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 24, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Richland, New York May 2, 1888, Susan J., wife of J. K. Jones, age 53 years. Mrs. Jones was a great sufferer of rheumatism, and she had been unable to sit up for eight years. For two years she had been unable to feed herself. Her husband, a son, Frank E., and a daughter, Nora A., survive her. She was a sister of Mrs. L. J. Hawley of this village. Mrs. Jones was a daughter of Archibald Campbell, once of this town, and long since deceased. Her mother, Mrs. Campbell, aged 88 years, survives her and resides in Orwell.
