    • Mrs. Mary Woods Rites Wednesday

      Services for Mrs. Mary A. Woods, 80, widow of William Woods, who died at the Austin nursing home on the Centerville Rd., Monday morning, were held from the Foster funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. C.M. Gonigam, pastor of the Congregational church officiated.

      Interment was made in the Pulaski cemetery.

      Mrs. Woods had made her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Cecile Woods, since 1934 until last May when she was hospitalized, after which she was taken to the nursing home.

      Surviving are one son, Robert W. Woods of Fredonia; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nellie Clement of Pulaski; two step-sons, Norman E. Woods of Pulaski and Louis Woods of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, William House of Parish; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, Chauncey Woods, died in 1948.

      Mrs. Woods was born in Parish on Dec. 7, 1873, the daughter of Abram and Louise White House. She was married to Mr.
      Woods Nov. 16, 1892, and had lived in this vicinity all her life. Mr. Woods died in 1941.

      She was a member of Pulaski Chapter No. 179, O.E.S. and of the Congregational church.
