- NEWSPAPER OBITUARY - Wednesday, October 25, 1972 Oswego Valley News - Fulton, New York - Heagerty Services - George William Heagerty, Sr., 69, of 16 VanBuren Street, died Thursday at Lee Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months. Born in Oswego, he resided in Fulton most of his life. He was employed at the Nestles Company for many years before retiring. He was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Heagerty; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Manwaring of Mexico, Mrs. Edna Salisbury of Fulton, Mrs. Grace Marie Frumert of Mexico and Mrs. Mary Lou Kempston of Fulton; five sons, Clarence, George Jr., Joseph, Paul and Daniel Heagerty, all of Fulton; 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday, October 23, at the Young and Son Funeral Home and in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial was in Mr. Adnah Cemetery.
