Notes - Newspaper Obituary - April 14, 1969 Palladium-Times - Mrs. Neva L. Haresign, 81, died early this morning in Tompkins County Hospital, Ithaca, after a long illness. She was the widow of Enoch Haresign, a painting contractor, whose death occurred in 1960. The family home in Oswego was at Washington Blvd. Mrs. Haresign had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. David (Lois) Williams, in Ithaca for many years. Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Nevy and Vinnie Look Ingersoll. Mrs. Haresign was a former active member of First United Methodist Church. Surviving besides Mrs. Williams are two other daughters, Miss Nila Haresign of Schenectady and Mrs. Walter (Neta) Ryan of South Jamesport, L. I.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Murray W. Nedmeyer, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the Scoville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
