Davenport, of Schenectady, and Miss Helen L. Peck, of this village, were united in marriage at the Baptist church by Rev. J. Foster Wilcox. The bride was accompanied by Miss Bessie Davis and the groom's best man was J. F. Fredendall, of Schenectady. The bride wore a brown traveling dress, with hat to match, while Miss Davis wore a black silk skirt and blue silk waist with black hat. The bridal party was preceded, as they approached the altar, by Miss Lucille Clark, who was daintily attired in white, carrying a silver tray, bearing two plain gold rings, one the gift of the groom to his bride, the other the gift of the bride to the groom. The ushers were, C. L. Finster, Dr. M. J. Terry, G. W. Morton and Claude Bonney. Miss Floy Sherman played the wedding march. Mr. and Mrs. Davenport left immediately after the ceremony for their home and Schenectady. They were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts.
