Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 25, 1887 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - At Pulaski, August 15, 1887, Mrs. Hannah J. Philbrick, aged 51 years. Some three years ago the deceased received an injury occasioned by a slight fall on her way from the west, which injured her brain, and from which she never recovered, since which time she has been an invalid confined for the most of the time to the house and much of the time to her bed with great bodily suffering. Mrs. Philbrick was a woman of remarkable energy, and her loss of health was a great misfortune, but she bore it with resignation and patience. On the eleventh of this month she was stricken with paralysis and sank rapidly, until death closed the scene on the 15th inst. Mrs. Philbrick leaves four children, one son and three daughters who greatly mourn her loss. May the grace of God sustain the family in their sore bereavement.
