Mrs. Thomas Marsh, 410 W. Embargo St., died last night after a long period of ill health.
She was born Carrie D. Golly at Lee Valley, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Golly, June 16, 1864. On December 25, 1883, she was married to Thomas Marsh at Lee Valley. Mrs. Marsh was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her husband there are three daughters, Mrs. Roy L. Bielby and Mrs. Clinton Wilson, both of Rome, and Mrs. William J. Palmer, Westfield, NJ, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Erwin E. MacFarland, Rome.
Mrs. Marsh has been a resident of Rome 44 years.
