Notes - Paul "Dick" Potter, age 86, resident of Redfield, passed away, Sunday, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica. Paul was born June 10, 1925 in Orwell, son of Cyril and Harriet Howland Potter. He resided in Redfield for 27 years, before living in Central Square, Pulaski, and he spent winters Lakeland, FL. Paul graduated from Pulaski High School in 1944. He married Laura I. Thompson on September 9, 1945, she died May 24, 2006. Paul was employed by Marcy State Hospital for 31 years, retiring in 1980. He also did painting in Florida for many years.
Surviving, one son Ronald D. Potter of Bunnell, FL, one daughter Roberta D. (Merle) Lawson of Ohio, NY, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the funeral.
