    • Linda L. Tanner Obituary
      Linda L. Tanner, age 70, life resident of the Williamstown and Camden area, passed away Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Linda was born February 6, 1954, in Syracuse, the daughter of William and Elsie Britton Wheeler. She graduated from APW High School in 1972. Linda was married to Timothy Tanner in 1977, and he passed away September 29, 1985. Linda loved to read, especially her Danielle Steele novels.

      Surviving are her longtime companion, Shawn Johnson of Camden, children, Monica (Shane) Rayder of Altmar, Tim (Danette) Tanner of Camden, Shane (Kelly) Tanner of Lowville, stepchildren, Mike (Angie) Johnson of Oneonta, William (Nancy) Johnson of New Haven, CT, Andrew (Jessica) Johnson and Jessica (Jose) Johnson all of Tennessee, three siblings, Robert (Sandy) Wheeler, LaDonna (Jim) Lake and Jim (Mary) Wheeler, 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who were all the light of her life. Linda was predeceased by her brother, Tom Wheeler.

      Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, November 2nd at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be held from 10 am to noon prior to the funeral. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the funeral at the American Legion, Williamstown.
