GUEST Catherine L. Guest, age 86, of September Lane, Beacon Falls and formerly of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, February 1, 2009 in her home with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of William Guest. Mrs. Guest was born in Richland, N.Y., April 8, 1922 daughter of the late Pearl and Lillian Wheeler Thornhill, and was a Shelton resident for most of her life. She was an active communicant of the Huntington Chapel. She was the beloved mother of Linda Donofrio and her husband, Russell and Patricia Pryor and her husband, Tom; sister of Charles Thornhill and Darline Meyers; and also leaves six cherished grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers Wesley, and Deforest Thornhill. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. Her memorial service will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Huntington Chapel, 177 Ripton Road, Shelton. Burial will be in the spring at Lawn Cemetery in the Huntington Section of Shelton. At the request of the family memorial contributions may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association 225 North Michigan Ave. FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601. BEACON FALLS - Catherine L. Guest, 86, of September Lane, formerly of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at her home with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of William Guest.
Mrs. Guest was born in Richland, N.Y., April 8, 1922, daughter of the late Pearl and Lillian Wheeler Thornhill, and was a longtime Shelton resident. She was an active communicant of the Huntington Chapel.
She is the beloved mother of Linda Donofrio and her husband, Russell, and Patricia Pryor and her husband, Tom, and the sister of Charles Thornhill and Darline Meyers.
