Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 10, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Death of H. A. Jones Announced - Harold A. Jones died Thursday, June 19, after an extended illness. He was born May 10, 1897, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Jones, then of Pulaski, now living in Syracuse. He attended Pulaski academy until he moved to Syracuse with his parents where he continued to reside, following the trade of a carpenter under the employment of the General Electric company. Mr. Jones was a veteran of World War I and a member of American Legion post of Onondaga Hill. Surviving are his wife, Myra O'Hara Jones, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Southard and Mrs. George Potter, Jr., three grandchildren, his parents, Mr_ and Mrs. Fred W. Jones, two brothers, Laurence C. and F. Raymond Jones of Syracuse and an aunt, Mrs. George W. Dunlap, Liverpool.
