Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday December 16, 1980 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Claude A. Price, 80, of RD 4, died Sunday evening, December 14, 1980 at his home. Born in the town of Richland to Andrew and Elvira Leonard Price, he attended Richland district schools. He was first married in 1923 to Emma Sherman, who died in 1950, and later married in 1951 to Mary Jane Shortsleeve, who died in 1976. He always resided in Fernwood, operating a dairy farm there before retiring in 1976. Mr. Price attended Richland Church of Christ and was a member of South Richland Grange. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Larmon of Brewerton; a son, Carl A. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren and a great-grandson. Funeral services were held December 17, 1980 at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Brownell officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery.
