      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 19, 1970 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Glenn E. Barnes, 73, formerly of Centerville, died Friday, March 13, 1970 at Venice Hospital in Venice, Florida. He was born In the Town of Parish. He attended Centerville schools and married the former Mildred Olin, who died in 1952. He married the former Leona Clemmons in 1955 and in recent years they spent their summers in Centerville and winters in Englewood, Florida. He was employed for 26 years by the New York Central Railroad milk division and later by the State Highway Department retiring 11 years ago. Surviving besides his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Craig of Central Square; two brothers, Guy of Syracuse and the Rev. Gerald Barnes of Bowling Green, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Lago of Henderson and Mrs. Thelma Cronk of Watertown. Services were Wednesday, March 18, 1970 at the Foster Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
